This is not written to protect me from you. It is written so you know exactly what you are buying, how you cancel and what happens if something goes wrong. If anything is unclear, write to me and I will explain it.
GymGo is a service run by its founder from Paraguay, available at gymgo.online and app.gymgo.online. The contact point for anything at all is soporte@gymgo.online. By using GymGo you accept these conditions.
A web application for planning and logging strength training. With an active subscription you get:
It runs in the browser. You need a reasonably current phone, tablet or computer and an internet connection. It is not distributed through the App Store or Google Play.
GymGo is an organisation and logging tool. It is not a medical service, it does not replace a health professional and it is not medical advice. Plans are generated by automatic rules and by artificial intelligence from what you declare; nobody with a medical qualification reviews your case.
Before you start training, and especially if you have or suspect any cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, joint or other condition, if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or if you take medication, talk to your doctor.
Stop if something hurts. The sore-spot filter reduces the risk, but it cannot know your body. You train at your own risk, and you are the one who decides what load to use and how far to go.
If you buy, get in and decide it is not for you, write to me within 7 days of the purchase and I refund you in full. No forms, no questionnaires and nothing for you to justify. This is on top of whatever rights the law of your country gives you, not instead of them.
By using GymGo you agree not to:
If you break this seriously I can suspend your account. If I do, I tell you by email and explain why, and I refund the part of the period you had paid for and not used.
The GymGo name, the design and the texts are mine. Your training data is yours: you can export it whenever you want and take it with you.
GymGo was built on top of openGym, a project licensed under AGPL-3.0. As that licence requires, you have the right to request the corresponding source code of the version being run. Ask for it at soporte@gymgo.online and I will send it.
I do what I can to keep GymGo always available and I have automatic monitoring that tells me if it goes down. Even so, I cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation: there can be outages for maintenance, because of my providers, or for reasons outside my reach.
I may change or improve features over time. If I had to remove something important that you use, I would tell you by email first. If I ever shut the service down, I would give reasonable notice, give you a way to export all your data and refund the proportional part you had paid in advance.
GymGo is offered as is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for injuries, damages or losses arising from use of the application or from the physical exercise you do; read the health notice again, which is the part that really matters.
My total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount you have paid me in the last 12 months. None of this limits liabilities the law does not allow to be excluded.
These conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep whatever protection the mandatory rules of where you live give you.
Before any formal complaint, write to me. We are two people talking, not two legal departments: almost everything gets sorted in one email.
